Scheduling, activity log and Modrinth integration

updates
Monday 28 September 2026 ยท 4 min read

Here we go again! Seventh batch, and this time the common thread is saving you time: fewer things to do by hand, more visibility on what your team is doing, and mods added without leaving the Panel.

Schedule your news, alerts and maintenance

No need to wake up at 8 AM to publish an announcement, or to remember to take down an outdated alert.

Every news post and alert can now have a publish date and an expiry date. Before it's published or after it expires, it simply isn't sent to the launcher: it shows up and disappears on its own, within a minute, with no action needed on your side.

In the Panel, a badge shows the status of each item at a glance: Scheduled, Live or Expired. And it stays visible on mobile.

Planned maintenance

Maintenance mode gets a schedulable window, with a start and an end. The manual toggle is still there: maintenance is active if the toggle is on, or if you're within the scheduled window.

And your players get a heads-up:

  • 24 hours before it starts, the launcher shows a "Scheduled maintenance" alert with a countdown (which players can dismiss)
  • During maintenance, the launcher message shows the expected end time

As for time zones, dates are now entered and displayed in your time zone, the one from your browser. Schedule for 8 PM, it's 8 PM where you are.

An activity log for your launcher

Who changed this module? When was this addon added? Now you know: Launch'it keeps a log of everything that happens on your launcher and your team.

What gets logged:

  • Module changes, with a field-by-field before / after view (secrets are masked, of course)
  • File Integrity files, addons, modpack imports and Azuriom
  • Telemetry event deletions and your launcher's lifecycle (creation, publishing, deletion)
  • On the team side: members, roles and invitations

You can check it in three places:

  • Your launcher's new Activity page, with filters by period, member, action type and module
  • An Activity tab in the team members window
  • A Recent activity card right on your launcher and team pages, so you can see the latest changes and who did what at a glance

The log is restricted to the owner and members who can manage the team, and this is enforced server-side. Retention depends on your plan, up to 365 days.

Add mods from Modrinth

No more downloading then uploading by hand: an Add from Modrinth button is now available on the File Integrity and Addons pages. Search, pick, done.

You decide where the mod goes:

  • As a locked file in mods/, which all your players receive
  • As an optional addon, which each player can enable if they want

And to avoid bad surprises, compatibility is checked three times:

  1. Search results are filtered on your launcher's Minecraft version and loader
  2. Each suggested version is double-checked for an exact match
  3. When adding, the server re-reads your launcher's config and refuses if anything changed in the meantime

On top of that:

  • Required dependencies are suggested and checked by default
  • An already installed mod is detected, with the option to replace it with another version
  • File integrity is verified (sha1 and sha512 hashes)
  • Your storage quota is checked before any download

Note: the button is disabled for Vanilla launchers, for obvious reasons.

Fixes

  • Alert dates: target dates were converted using the server's time zone instead of yours. This is fixed with the switch to your browser's time zone

That's it for now

As always, if you have an idea or a wish for what's next, I'm all ears. And if anything goes wrong, the Support page is there for you.

See you soon,
